The Los Angeles Lakers entered the court against the Charlotte Hornets without the star duo of Anthony Davis and LeBron James. The duo has been sidelined due to injuries and the franchise will hope for them to return soon because, without them, the team’s pursuit of playoffs is in danger.

In their most recent fixture against the Charlotte Hornets, it was more obvious than ever. Although it was a close match, the Hornets won the game with a score of 117-114. It was without a doubt a close game and fans enjoyed it to the full extent.

Apart from the actual game, fans also got to see a heated exchange. Russell Westbrook and Miles Bridges got into it. It was the aftermath of Bridges’ “Too Small” celebration against Brodie.

For his celebration, he was given a technical foul by the referee. At that moment, the two exchanged a few words, and it felt like the situation could escalate. Fortunately, something like that didn’t happen.

It became even more obvious when Bridges was asked about it in the postgame interview. The Charlotte Hornets forward gave a hilarious reply to the reporters.

Via ClutchPoints:

“I was just having fun. Russell does that every time he scores on someone smaller than him and I did it to him and I got a tech. Hopefully, I get my money back, it’s all good.”

Bridges finished it on a hilarious note as he joked about the altercation between him and Russ. As the Hornets forward mentioned, Russ’ one of the most popular celebrations is “Too Small.” He tends to do that when he scores on players smaller than him.

Well, it seems like Bridges doesn’t have that flexibility when it comes to the celebration. Regardless of this, Miles praised Russ in the postgame interview and had nothing but respect for the former MVP.

He talked about he doesn’t get why Westbrook gets so much hate from everyone. But it doesn’t seem like such stuff bothers Westbrook as he silenced his critics with his phenomenal second-half performance against the Hornets.
