LaVar Ball Advises LeBron James To Retire In Cleveland: “Go Finish Up Your Thing And Get Game In Your Hometown, Man.”

2 Min Read

A couple of weeks ago, LeBron James was somehow linked with a move back to Cleveland seeing how well the Cavaliers are playing this 2021/22 NBA season. The Cavs are shocking the world when nobody expected little to nothing from them, climbing positions in the Eastern Conference. Right now, they rank 6th, avoiding the play-in tournament positions.

Before LeBron entered his incredible recent run, the Lakers were struggling, which prompted people to urge The King to return to Cleveland and create another superteam at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Cleveland has an interesting core of players, starting from Darius Garland and Evan Mobley, who are balling this season. The good young core has turned a lot of heads to them this season, and some believed it was a good chance for Bron to return home.

During a recent fan video via Cameo, LaVar Ball advised LeBron to leave Los Angeles and go back to Cleveland to finish his career.

“The Lakers are having little problems over there with LeBron. Yeah, he has a team but it’s too old. But Cleveland fans want him back to Cleveland to finish up his career. Go to Cleveland, LeBron. Go finish up your thing and get game in your hometown, man,” Ball said.

Even though that could be interesting for LeBron, that’s not in his plan right now. The King is focused on creating something good in Los Angeles and he’s thriving in recent games. The Lakers are still struggling to find their touch this season, but having James as the center has actually helped them a lot. They’re undefeated when the 4x NBA champion plays at the five.

Still, LeBron has shown his desire to play with Bronny James in the future. Perhaps the Cavs can give him that opportunity and we see James finishing his career in his hometown while his son starts his legacy at the same place.
