Kemba Walker returned to the New York Knicks lineup, dropping 50 points in two games. The point guard is ready to prove his worth in the Big Apple after being removed from the team’s lineup a couple of weeks ago.

Well, the former Charlotte Hornets and Boston Celtics playmaker came back with a chip on his shoulder, demonstrating he can be impactful on the court regardless of what the analytics say.

Walker had plenty of supporters after he was left out of the team’s rotation, especially Jamal Crawford, who didn’t think he should have been benched in the first place. Crawford never supported that decision, even calling it ‘disrespectful.’

“Can’t lie, I hate seeing Kemba just sitting there..low key disrespectful.”

Moreover, after the player returned to the court, the legendary sixth man sent a big message to Walker while throwing shade at the Knicks’ head coach Tom Thibodeau for benching the player.

No way, no f’n way.. this can’t be the same Kemba who had 9-10 straight Dnp’s, out here helping them win games.. NO WAY!

Kemba returned to the lineup over the weekend, posting 29 points against the Boston Celtics. Unfortunately, the Knicks couldn’t beat the C’s despite Walker’s displays. However, the Knicks did the job against the Detroit Pistons last night, easily handling them in a 105-91 win at Madison Square Garden. His 21 points weren’t as impressive as the 29 he dropped on the Celtics, but Kemba showed his impact on the game, giving his team a much-needed win.

Crawford noticed that and praised the player, who is on a mission now. Walker is trying to show he can be good on the Knicks, and even if the front office decides to trade him, the playmaker will have many options in the market as long as he keeps this level.
