Zion Williamson has been very famous around the NBA community recently thanks to his ‘performances’ in pickup games. The New Orleans Pelicans superstar has made sure to show that he’s committed to the team and the city, making surprise appearances to spend time with kids, cheering them up, and showing that he’s a really cool guy.

After re-signing with the Pelicans on a deal that could be worth $231 million, Zion is ready to show that he’s just starting, and we haven’t seen the best from him. Meanwhile, he keeps hanging out with kids and doing activities with the team.

Recently, he celebrated his 22nd birthday and attended a camp with many children. He was trying to play some games with them, but there was one that wanted that smoke and even dared to trash talk, Zion.

A short video shared by the Pelicans shows a series of kids gathering around Zion. He asked them to team up and play some games, but one of them had different plans for his meeting with Williamson.

It’s great to see those little kids already boast huge confidence, but it’s wild to go at it with Zion Williamson. All of this shows that things are going just fine for the Pelicans. Despite the recent events of Devonte’ Graham, the team looks ready to challenge everybody in the West next season.

Zion wants to compete in NOLA, and the Pelicans are ready to emulate or improve what they did last season. After missing the entire 2021/22 NBA season, Williamson is ready to prove that he’s just starting and everybody who tries to stop him will have to give their best to do so.
