Instagram model Aaleeyah Petty, who has a son with Brandon Ingram, recently announced on social media that she is going to become a mother for the second time. While Petty did not disclose who the father of the child is in her post, it appears to be Anfernee Simons.
You can make out that “Baby Simons” is written in the background and Petty does seem to indicate in the comments that he is the father.

The tattoo on the arm of the man in the third picture does point to Simons as well. Quite understandably, some eyebrows have been raised considering the circumstances here. I wish them the very best, of course, and hopefully, the child will have a great upbringing.
Who Is Aaleeyah Petty?
Petty was born on July 3, 1994, in Chicago, Illinois, but not much is known about her early life. She rose to fame as a fitness enthusiast on Instagram and now has over 1.3 million followers on the platform.
Petty has been romantically involved with a fair few NBA players apart from Ingram and Simons. She has reportedly dated Quincy Miller, Cam Payne, and Tristan Thompson, along with rappers Future and Rich The Kid.
She only had a child with Ingram prior to this, however, although it is unclear when the two were dating or when they split. Petty gave birth to their son, Brenton, on February 27, 2019, and for a while, there was uncertainty about who the father was. There were rumors floating around that it was Devin Booker, but it later came out that it was Ingram.
The situation with Ingram is clearly something that Simons doesn’t seem to be too bothered about. His presence at the baby shower would indicate he’s very happy to be with the 29-year-old social media star.
It is unclear when these two got into a relationship, but it’ll probably get out at some point. Simons was previously dating Bre Hudson, but the two apparently broke up earlier this year.
Anfernee Simons Has Been On The Sidelines For Much Of The Season
Simons had the best season of his career in 2022-23, averaging 21.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 0.7 steals per game. With Damian Lillard’s departure, the 24-year-old was expected to take a leap in 2023-24, but the injury bug unfortunately struck.
Simons injured his thumb in the season opener for the Portland Trail Blazers, where he had 18 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals against the Los Angeles Clippers. He had to undergo surgery to fix a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his thumb and is expected to return to the court at some point in December. The Blazers, who are off to a 3-10 start, have certainly missed his presence.
