Damian Lillard is one of the most famous names in the NBA right now after he made some interesting comments about his future with the Portland Trail Blazers.
After so many people reacted to these comments, the star point guard sent a message on Twitter, presumably talking about all the noise his words made around the league.
“Boy y’all sure love moving the goal post,” Lillard wrote today.

This can be seen as a message to all the people that try to tell Lillard what he must do in his career to be successful. After several years of trying to win with the Blazers with no success, Dame is apparently growing frustrated with the team, but he still wants to give it another try to see what they can put together.
Dame has always defended his loyalty to the Blazers, but everything has a limit, including Lillard’s patience. Jaylen Brown has been mentioned among the potential candidates to join Lillard in Portland, but the point guard has also been linked with other teams around the league.
Damian Lillard Has Been Linked With Eastern Conference Top Teams Already
Ever since he made those comments, Lillard’s potential landing spots started to show up. Nick Wright and Stephen A. Smith think the Philadelphia 76ers would be a terrific team for Lillard, especially if James Harden leaves in the summer.
Joel Embiid, with his dominance in the paint and the fact that he can stretch the court, added to Damian’s shooting skills, and the fact that he’s one of the most clutch players in the league could be deadly for other teams.
The Miami Heat have also been mentioned among Lillard’s potential suitors, and having him in South Beach would be great for Pat Riley. However, it seems like we will have to wait until next season to see if Dame decides to get out of Portland and try his luck somewhere else.
