The Phoenix Suns are in the NBA Finals, and a large factor in the team achieving that feat has been the partnership of Devin Booker and Chris Paul. There is no question that this has been an amazing playoff run for the Phoenix Suns, and making the Finals alone has made this season successful for the team, as they had a long playoff drought prior to the season.

Devin Booker has recently made some comments on Chris Paul. Booker talked about how he was a “fanboy” of the point guard growing up. It must be amazing to play next to a childhood hero, and Booker mused about how life ends up coming around full circle.

Just watching the games… just being a straight fan to start. Me and my friends would be talking about when Chris would leave the house or something I’d say “That’s CP3!” every time he leaves… It’s kind of strange just growing up literally being a fanboy of him and now being next to him in the backcourt, it’s crazy how life comes full circle.

It is clear that their partnership has led to great results thus far, and if Chris Paul stays with the Phoenix Suns this offseason, it would continue. The Phoenix Suns could potentially win their first championship this season, and Chris Paul and Devin Booker will certainly be key in the Finals.
