Devin Booker Was Upset With Kevin Durant Being In Call Of Duty: “Come On, Bro, You Didn’t Even Let Me Know?”

Devin Booker might be a killer on the court but he also is a killer on the sticks, known to be an extremely avid fan of the Call of Duty franchise.

Kevin Durant was recently announced as a skin on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, a game that Booker is a fan of. The shooting guard wasn’t happy that KD didn’t tell him about it and also admitted he was jealous.

“I talk about it every day, he didn’t even bring it up to me! I hit him this morning like, ‘Come on, bro, you didn’t even let me know? Need a code or something. That’s exciting man. Once they did the Messi and Pogba, I knew they could do it. I am jealous.”

Athlete skins became a part of the video game this year with soccer stars like Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba, and Neymar being added as skins during the FIFA World Cup.

Now that KD has been added, more NBA stars could follow. Booker isn’t the only CoD fan, with players on the Minnesota Timberwolves, Ben Simmons, Kyrie Irving, and Donovan Mitchell, among others all known to be active on the game.

Treating The Playoffs As A Warzone

The Phoenix Suns are currently down 2-0, so all this chatter about Call of Duty as their team faces elimination isn’t ideal. Their call of duty now is to ensure the Suns can walk out with consecutive wins on their home court in Games 3 and 4.

Durant struggled mightily in Game 2 and was held responsible for that loss. Booker has been sensational for most of the playoffs, averaging 35.4 points, 6.6 assists, and 4.9 rebounds through the seven games that he has played.

The Denver Nuggets are not an easy team to beat, so Booker and KD need their entire team to lock in and focus, especially if Chris Paul is unable to play after getting injured last game.
