Superstar Stephen Curry is the face of the Golden State Warriors, and there’s no doubt that he has played at a high level in the playoffs. There are many who believe that he is a top 10 player in NBA history, and for good reason.

Jamal Crawford recently spoke out about Stephen Curry’s legacy in the game, noting that currently, he is “somewhere in the top 10-15” on his all-time legends list. However, he did also note that Curry could finish higher, as his “book is still being written.”

“So all-time great players, his book is still being written, but I would say he’s somewhere in the top—without thoroughly thinking about it—somewhere in the top 10-15 right now, for sure,” Crawford said of Curry. “Win another championship, he goes even higher, right, and he continues to eclipse. He may end somewhere really, really high, but he’s still got four or five years at this level.”

There is no doubt that this is a fair take from Jamal Crawford, and most people would agree with his take. Stephen Curry still has a few years left in his prime, and a few more championships could put him squarely in the top 5.

In the playoffs, Stephen Curry averaged 31.4 PPG, 4.9 RPG, and 5.4 APG. He has clearly been dominant thus far, and the team will need many more explosive performances from him if they are to win another championship this year.

Colin Cowherd Believes Stephen Curry Has Surpassed Magic Johnson

It is no secret that a lot of people believe that Stephen Curry is in the conversation for being the best point guard of all time. In fact, previously, NBA analyst Colin Cowherd suggested that he has already surpassed Magic Johnson. Cowherd noted that Curry “changed the game,” while Johnson was just “uniquely gifted.”

“I look at Steph Curry, and it’s not just that he’s a great scorer, he’s the greatest shooter of all time,” Cowherd said. “That is game-changing, Magic didn’t change the game, he was just uniquely gifted. LeBron (James) hasn’t really changed the game, he’s just uniquely gifted. Steph has changed the game, so when you add that component, that he’s literally revolutionized the sport, AAU, high school, college, pro basketball, international basketball with the three-point shot. If I had to choose an all-time team, I think I choose Steph Curry.”

Though this is a solid argument, what great players are ultimately judged on in the eyes of the public is championships and winning. If Stephen Curry wins more championships, it will be easy to rank him higher, and we’ll see what ends up happening in the future.
