The Boston Celtics can take another step closer to history tonight if they beat the Miami Heat in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference Finals series.

After winning the past two games and closing the gap to just one game, the Celtics are ready to level the series up and force a Game 7, which will be at TD Garden. Jaylen Brown recently talked about this situation, discussing the similarities between his Celtics and the 2004 Boston Red Sox that returned from an 0-3 deficit.

“The more games that we win, the more the fans talk about it,” Brown said of the Sox, via MassLive. “The more the coaches are bringing it up in the locker room, saying this is possible and it can be done. And we believe, too. We believe that one, we’re the better team in this series and we haven’t played like it. But two that it’s our destiny to be able to make it to the next level. So history is at our doorstep, and we gotta respond.”

The Celtics were from being defeated after the first three games and now are one game away from tying this series and forcing a do-or-die situation against the Heat.

Jimmy Butler guaranteed that the Heat would take Game 6 tonight, but Brown and co. are ready to ruin their plans. The Celtics made the adjustments at the best time and things could go a lot better for them now.

Brown Already Warned The Miami Heat About Letting The Boston Celtics Win

After the Heat went up 3-0 over the Celtics, Brown warned them about letting his team come back in the series. They’re now 3-2 and set to recover the home-court advantage. A win today will make this series 3-3 and everybody in Boston will be hyped up on Monday.

Paul Pierce claimed the Celtics are winning tonight and he’ll be in attendance for Game 7, but the Heat will try to prevent that at all costs. This series has had everything and a Game 7 will be the best closure to it.
