It’s not a secret that Kevin Durant doesn’t hesitate to go after people, especially on social media. The Brooklyn Nets superstar isn’t shy when it comes to firing back at critics, and even when he’s not being attacked directly, Durant always finds a way to get back at fans.

Earlier this week, as somebody talked about Giannis Antetokounmpo, KD took offense when his name was brought up, making it clear he’s always checking what people are saying about him on Twitter.

Moreover, he went to fire back at somebody who dared to say Michael Jordan wouldn’t even be in the NBA if he was shorter. MJ was one of the greatest scorers of all time thanks to his mid-range shooting and ability to attack the rim. Still, some people believe that he wouldn’t have been all that if he wasn’t a 6’6″ shooting guard.

Kevin Durant Blasts Fan Who Called Out Michael Jordan On Twitter

It all started when a user chimed in on the ongoing controversy surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo’s understanding of the game.

Just curious why Giannis dominating the paint gets written off as "just using his physical advantage" while we never hear that for 7ft KD when he's shooting clean over 6'7 defenders. I mean I know why…they think that midrange fadeaway game is *real* skill. But just asking

Another fan responded to that, saying that if KD wasn’t 7-feet, he would have been better than some of the top PGs in the league.

If kd was shorter hes still top guard if giannis was smaller is he better than russ or john wall?

“If kd was shorter hes still top guard if giannis was smaller is he better than russ or john wall?”

DragonFlyJonez replied by saying that if Michael Jordan was 5’9″, he would have a completely different job right now.

If MJ was 5'9 he'd be an insurance salesman https://t.co/zmzHrrXeHG

“If MJ was 5’9 he’d be an insurance salesman,” DragonFlyJonez claimed.

Durant wasn’t having any of that and went in against Jonez, asking what he would do if he was 6-feet tall

What would u be if you were 6’6? https://t.co/GZ0TroNCmD

— Kevin Durant (@KDTrey5) September 8, 2022

“What would u be if you were 6’6?” Durant quote-tweeted.

It’s pretty clear that KD loves to trade jabs with fans, and he never misses a chance to make them pay for their criticism. This time, it all started when he was compared to Giannis, and then when this person dared to say Jordan was great because he was tall. MJ is the greatest player of all time for a variety of reasons, and perhaps at 5’9″ he wouldn’t have been as great as he actually was, but he would have been a lot better than an insurance salesman. Interestingly, MJ had a similar assessment of his brother, but we never got to see that.
