LeBron James Warns The Rest Of The League How Quickly They Forget Anthony Davis: “He’ll Remind You Once Again Why He’s Him!!! And I Can’t Wait For It To Be Unleashed!”

The Los Angeles Lakers had a season to forget. Despite boasting a roster stacked with multiple former All-Stars and superstars like LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook, the Lakers had an embarrassing season, failing to even make it to the play-in tournament.

While the team certainly lacked chemistry, with Westbrook mainly struggling to find his place, the biggest Achilles heel for the Lakers was injuries. Both LeBron and AD missed multiple games due to various injuries. While Bron still somehow managed to play a reasonable 56 games, Davis’ fragile physique was at full display as the big man missed 42 games.

‘The Brow’ clearly had a season to forget. While LBJ defied his age and put up monstrous numbers, Davis had his second-worst season statistically in the last 8 seasons averaging only about 23.2 points, 3.1 assists, and 9.9 rebounds per game in a campaign marred with injuries.

Given how disappointing of a season he has had, many pundits and fans have dismissed Davis, and some have even claimed that the Lakers are better off without the 8-time All-Star. But LeBron James certainly believes that AD will shut his critics this season.

In a social media post, LeBron James hyped up Davis sharing a bunch of the big man’s highlights in a Lakers uniform.

“Get It Twisted if you want too! I’m due time he’ll remind you once again why he’s HIM!!! And I can’t wait for it to be unleashed!”

LBJ and AD have shown how good they can be when healthy, winning a championship back in 2020. With the duo still around the team, at least for the next 2 seasons on the basis of their contracts, the Lakers, on paper, can still contend for a championship.

The biggest challenge, though, for them will be the health of the duo. Rob Pelinka and the Lakers organization, on the other hand, will look to build a good enough supporting cast if they really want to contend.

The Lakers have two of the biggest superstars of the league on their team whom they can either contend for a championship or trade for promising future assets. Will the Lakers give the LeBron-AD duo one last go, or will they blow up this superteam? Only time will tell.
