Luka Doncic Thinks The Mavs Can Beat The Clippers: “We’ve Just Got Three Left. For Sure We Can Win The Series. If You Don’t Believe It, You’re Not Supposed To Be Here.”

The Dallas Mavericks took revenge on the Los Angeles Clippers, winning the second game of their first-round playoffs series, tying the series one game per side. Luka Doncic, as always, was majestic for his team, scoring 28 points, along with 8 rebounds and 7 assists. The Mavericks’ bench played a key role in the victory, too, with Trey Burke (16 points), Seth Curry (15) and Boban Marjanovic (13) all scoring double digits.

They played a great game in the 127-114 victory over the Clips, which make people believe this team is more dangerous than initially believed. If they keep this rhythm through the whole series, be careful because Dallas can shock the world. Doncic is confident his team can do a good job and actually eliminate the Clippers in the very first round. After the game, he had some interesting things to say, including his expectations from now on. Doncic believes his side can win three more games and send the Clippers home,

“It was great. I’m in a way better mood today. We’ve just got three left. For sure [we can win the series]. If you don’t believe it, you’re not supposed to be here.”

The Slovenian point guard has been terrific this season and getting past the Clippers, one of the biggest favorites to win the title this season, will take his name to the top of the top in the NBA. He’s still young and will have plenty of playoffs runs, but the things he’s showing this season are already impressive.

It’s hard to say they can beat the Clippers, but seeing their offense and the runs they’ve had in the first two games of the series, you have to keep an eye on this team.
