LeBron James has shown the ability to be an elite defensive player throughout his career, but he’s obviously not been at the same level as consistently as Jordan was. The fact that Jordan managed to achieve more of every single major award in significantly fewer seasons than James is a very strong point in favor of MJ as the GOAT. The argument that is often made is that LeBron James still has time to achieve the same number of awards as Jordan before he retires, but even if he should do so, the fact that Jordan was able to do it in lesser time will always remain.
