Michael Jordan’s Son Opens ‘Trophy Room’ With Exclusive Jordan Sneakers

2 Min Read

Michael Jordan is one of the most recognizable athletes to have ever lived. However, there is one thing that might just be more well-known than him as well. Those things are the shoes that bear his name and have been a sensation since Jordan was playing.

‘Air Jordan’ are two of the most important words in the sneaker world. The value and cadence that Air Jordans carry is something that very few shoes actually can claim. As a result, Jordan Brand is worth billions of dollars, with MJ himself becoming the first basketball billionaire.

Rare Jordan shoes carry a mark-up to purchase that far outvalues the shoe. However, there is now an official source to get the rarest Jordan’s and that is a new store called ‘Trophy Room’, which was recently unveiled by Michael’s son, Marcus Jordan. Marcus owns the store and promises to house some of the rarest Jordan collectibles in the world.

Marcus had this to say about the new store.

“I have happy memories with my family. In the trophy room growing up my dad had game-worn shoes, all the awards, all the memorabilia. There will be parts of that within the Trophy Room store with game-worn shoes on display, photographs of us inside the original trophy room, various family photos, and videos that exude that warm feeling.”

The shop is an upscale boutique store and is in Orlando, Florida. The shop promises to offer exclusive Jordans and is reportedly going to collaborate with brands like the Upper Deck Card Company and Nike.

This isn’t the first time Marcus has opened this store, initially running it out of Michael Jordan’s estate. However, as word spread, Marcus opened a store in 2016 in the Walt Disney Entertainment District and would shut its doors in 2019, switching to an online-only model. We wish it all the best for its re-opening.
