Montrezl Harrell On If He Has Any Issues With The Raptors Players: “My Beef Is With Anybody Who Doesn’t Have A Lakers Jersey.”

2 Min Read

Montrezl Harrell had a very rough night on Tuesday, getting ejected from the Toronto Raptors-Los Angeles Lakers game after only three minutes of action. The big man has been known for standing up for his teammates and defending them, which is what happened in recent hours.

After Dennis Schroder fouled OG Anunoby with a hard play, the Raptors player put the Lakers point guard on the floor and things got out of control. Harrell showed up, shoving Anunoby before Gary Trent Jr. and the rest of the players separated Dennis, OG, and Montrezl.

The big man was ejected, just like Anunoby, finishing the game way too early for the Lakers. After the match was over, Trezz was asked if he had any beef with any Raptors players but he made it clear that whoever doesn’t wear a Lakers jersey has a problem with him.

“My beef is with anybody who doesn’t have a Lakers jersey,” he told reporters.

Talking about the ejection, the former Los Angeles Clippers player said that he didn’t get any explanation. He was ejected and that was it.

In the end, the Lakers beat the Raptors, 101-110, returning to winning ways after suffering a painful loss against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday. Trezz showed his commitment to the team and as long as the Lakers have guys like this, willing to defend their teammates, they will have a chance to compete against anybody.

They’re still waiting on LeBron James and Anthony Davis’ return to the floor but the team is trying to win as many games as they can before their two stars come back from injuries.
