The 2017 Golden State Warriors were one of the most dominant teams ever assembled in the history of the NBA. The 2017 Dubs featured four NBA All-Stars in Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.
What’s even more impressive is the fact that this team without KD in 2016 was a 73-9 team. Although the Warriors didn’t have a similar record in 2017, they were head and shoulders above any other team in the league. The Warriors expectedly went on to win the NBA Championship that season.
Anyway, in recent days, there have been many discussions around which is the better team between the 2017 Dubs and the 2001 Los Angeles Lakers.
Stephen Curry made the claim his Warriors would not have a tough time against that Lakers team. He mentioned there would be no one who would be able to guard him and Klay.
Similarly, Shaquille O’Neal weighed in on this intense debate as well. He said that the Lakers would win the matchup because no one would be able to guard him and Kobe.
It turns out both players have complete trust in their respective teams. Due to this debate between the two players, a debate among NBA fans has also started. On that note, an NBA fan on Twitter recently posted a short clip of the 2017 Warriors’ utterly ‘unfair’ strength on the court.
Man this Warriors team wasn’t fair 😂 pic.twitter.com/LSRwkZCGGW

Upon seeing the clip, NBA fans flooded the comments section with praise and, of course disbelief about how good the Warriors really were.

These old heads don't know what they're saying sometimes. This Warriors team will run them into the ground. Shaq has not experienced the demoralising barrage of 3s and flurries.

Watching old clips of the 2017 Warriors has once again helped fans remember how great this team actually was.
Considering the amazing chemistry that they had only made it tough for opponents to defeat them. To be completely honest, apart from Shaquille O’Neal from the 2001 Lakers, the 2017 Warriors will best every single player on the team and win a best-of-seven series with ease.
