One of the fans hoped he would bring the same energy to Dallas next season.

“He’s gonna be a demon next season,” a comment read.

One fan said the skills were proof that NBA players were better athletes than they looked.

A Space Jam reference wasn’t far away.

Surely, this could very well make for a new Kyrie Irving mixtape. The guard looked in brilliant shape and was phenomenal on the floor. Now, Mavericks fans will hope that Irving could repeat those pyrotechnics on the floor for the team next season.

Can Kyrie Irving Win His Second NBA Championship In The 2023-24 Season?

All eyes will be on the star duo of Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic in the 2023-24 season. With the Mavericks failing to make the playoffs this past season, the scrutiny will be higher on both superstar guards.

For Irving, it’s about winning the second title, one that has been elusive after winning his first with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. While his numbers have surely been consistent, it hasn’t necessarily translated to another title.

Irving averaged 27.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 6.0 assists in his 20 games with the Mavericks, while Doncic averaged 32.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 8.0 assists from 66 games. Despite their mercurial offense, the Mavericks were undone in the final stages of the regular season.

Now, with Irving set to play a full season for Dallas following his three-year extension with the side, fans will be optimistic that he can cause some serious damage in the West and take the side to the distance.
