We’re a few months away from the NBA season beginning, and a lot of players are getting their work in. Players face a demanding schedule through the NBA season, and they need to prepare themselves months in advance.

Oftentimes, players in the NBA get together and play pick-up ball together to get themselves back into shape. At one such game, there was an unexpected participant; Hollywood star Adam Sandler.

Sandler, who is a big fan of basketball and can often be seen playing pick-up games, linked up with stars like Trae Young, Tobias Harris, and other NBA players as they played to get back into shape.

Sandler has been a big basketball for many years and has incorporated the game into several of his projects.

Most notably, his critically acclaimed 2019 movie Uncut Gems featured a significant role for NBA legend Kevin Garnett, who portrays himself in the movie.

On top of that, Sandler was also one of the cast members for Saturday Night Live when Michael Jordan hosted the sketch comedy show in 1991. Recently, a legendary picture with Jordan along with Sandler and other SNL cast members went viral.

While Sandler is by no means a professional ballplayer, he is still decent enough to keep up with NBA stars in a casual, no-stakes game of ball.

Knowing Sandler’s skill level, these players must have also played a little more leniently than they would during a proper competitive game.

The NBA season is slated to start in nearly two months, with several players looking to play their way back into shape.

Given how intense the next 82-game season, the first since the 2018-19 season, will be, the players will have to be in top shape come opening day.

But Sandler getting the opportunity to play with them is a great thing for him, given how big a basketball fan he is.
