Chris Paul Has Led Four Franchises To Set Season Record For Wins: Hornets, Clippers, Rockets And Suns

2 Min Read

Chris Paul has had an incredible NBA career, becoming one of the greatest point guards of all time, playing at an insane level every single season, helping teams and players get a lot better on and off the court.

The Point God is playing his second season with the Phoenix Suns, improving what they did last year, securing the best record in the league and the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. After a blowout win that eliminated the Los Angeles Lakers from play-in contention, the Suns made history, recording the most victories in a season in franchise history.

This marked the fourth time in his career that Paul helps a squad set a new season record for the most wins. When everybody thought he would start slowing down, the point guard proved them wrong, raising the bar even higher and making the Suns clear favorites for the championship.

StatMuse revealed that the playmaker led three other teams to record the winningest season in history before, doing something no other player has done before.

2007-08 New Orleans Hornets/Pelicans – 56-26.

2013-14 Los Angeles Clippers – 57-25.

2017-18 Houston Rockets – 65-17.

2021-22 Phoenix Suns – 63-16.

Chris Paul is now ready to face the playoffs, looking for revenge after getting too close to the NBA championship last season. CP3 is trying to win that elusive ring once and for all and right now, no other team seems to be better than these Suns.

Now the real competition starts, but the Arizonian team is confident they can get things done. With Paul and Devin Booker leading the way, Phoenix will have a big chance to win it all in a couple of months. Paul keeps making history in the league and a ring could be the best way to crown his tenure with the Suns.

He’s left a huge mark on every team he’s played for, and winning the title with Phoenix is next on his list.
