Dejounte Murray Sends Support To Russell Westbrook: "They Can Never Take Away His Greatness And Who He Is As A Person..."

Russell Westbrook is without question an all-time great. He has been to the NBA Finals and has won an MVP award at the conclusion of the 2016-17 season. There's no doubt that he will end up making the Hall of Fame in the future.

Despite his status as a legend of the game of basketball, Russell Westbrook gets a lot of hate from fans. Most notably, Russell Westbrook and his family have recently caught a lot of hate from the media and fans due to his performances. His wife, Nina Westbrook, has even sent out emotional messages about the fans who attacked her husband.

My hope is that the amazing and talented players that come after him don’t have to be subjected to this type of shaming, name-calling, and public scrutiny for playing the game that they love.

San Antonio Spurs star Dejounte Murray has recently expressed his support for Russell Westbrook on Twitter when commenting on a video that captured him showing love to the elder point guard at the end of the recent Los Angeles Lakers-San Antonio Spurs game. Murray claimed that nobody can "take away" Westbrook's greatness, and "who he is as a person".

Through All The BS And Disrespect On Russ Name “THEY” Can Never Take Away His Greatness And Who He Is As A Person… The REAL Forever With You And NEVER Against You My Brother Russell Westbrook, Believe That!!!

There is no question that this is a good gesture from Dejounte Murray, and it might be good for Russell Westbrook to hear that he has someone on his side. Hopefully, we see Russell Westbrook shut up his haters in the future.

Russell Westbrook is still a good player that can impact a game with his abilities. He's an amazing playmaker who can set up others for easy baskets. Perhaps he will find his groove and show improved performances in the coming weeks.
