Game 5 of the NBA Finals was an incredibly entertaining game that saw massive momentum swings in favor of both teams for the first three quarters. However, the Golden State Warriors put their foot on the necks of the Boston Celtics and eliminated their third-quarter comeback to go to the TD Garden in Boston with the series lead.

The Celtics started the game out ice-cold, falling back by almost 20 points in the first quarter itself. However, they made incremental progress in the second quarter before going nuclear hot in the third quarter and making 9 of 9 three-pointers after starting the game 0-12 on threes.

The fourth quarter saw the Warriors put the game away and take the win, now sitting one win away from a championship. Naturally, the fans of the game on Twitter had a lot of opinions on this game and how the Warriors pulled it out with a final score of 94-104.

Game 6 is going to be a must-watch as the Warriors look to win their 4th championship in their 8-season run as one of the best teams in the NBA. This would improve their Finals record to 4-2, with the two losses coming at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Toronto Raptors.

Steph Curry had an incredibly tough game, not making a three-pointer for the first time in 223 games. That ended the longest streak of consecutive three-point makes in NBA history, so at least the Celtics could rip GSW off one accolade.

The TD Garden will be ready to host the Warriors and play a lot of the mind games that helped them steal a crucial Game 3 win. The Warriors will be favorites in the next game for sure, so the Celtics have a tall task ahead of them to keep their championship dreams alive.
