Glen Davis Calls Out Kyrie Irving: “That’s The Same Ankle Stomp On Lucky With.”

1 Min Read

Kyrie Irving has exited with an ankle injury in the middle of the Brooklyn Nets’ Game 4 against the Milwaukee Bucks. The injury occurred right after Irving landed on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s foot. There is no doubt that the injury is unfortunate, and hopefully, Kyrie Irving is able to get healthy sooner rather than later.

While most have been sympathetic towards Kyrie Irving and his injury, Glen “Big Baby” Davis has done the opposite and called him out. There was an incident during the Nets-Celtics series where Kyrie Irving stomped on the Boston Celtics logo at TD Garden. Davis referred to that incident and said that Kyrie’s injured ankle is the same one that he used to stomp on the logo.

While Davis may be upset at Kyrie Irving’s actions on the Boston Celtics’ home court, many people have suggested that this statement is in poor taste. Stomping on a logo does not mean that Irving deserved to suffer an injury. Hopefully, Kyrie Irving will be able to rehabilitate his ankle and be available soon to help the Brooklyn Nets.
