The Miami Heat stand just one win away from the NBA Finals, but things are far from being over in their series against Boston. In what was a disappointing night for the Heat, the Celtics were able to force a Game 6 thanks to sub-par performances from Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
After the game, Bam Adebayo tried to take the blame for his team's loss, but Butler later explained what happened, putting the loss on the team rather than on one individual performer.
Tonight was a huge test for Miami. Their ability to close out this young Celtics team is a huge indicator as to whether or not they're ready to handle a stage like the NBA Finals,
Clearly, they've got their hands full dealing with the Celtics, and this series is far from being over.
But it is also clear that if either of these teams wants to beat the Lakers in the final round, they're going to have to play better and at the top of their game. Butler and the squad in Miami sure seem like they're up for the challenge, but only time will tell at this point.
