Jimmy Butler Warns The NBA About The Heat: "It Feels Like A Championship Caliber Team. When We’re Clicking, I Think We’re Going To Be Tough To Beat."

Jimmy Butle

Contrary to what many people have said in recent days, Jimmy Butler is focused on creating something good in Miami. The Heat underperformed last season, getting swept in the first round of the 2021 NBA playoffs at the hands of the eventual champions Milwaukee Bucks. This season, the picture looks very different for the Floridians, who are ready to get revenge.

Butler is hoping to have a similar run to the one he had in 2020 when he led the Heat to the NBA Finals in the infamous Orlando bubble. He has a way better supporting cast this time and is set to prove doubters wrong in South Beach.

Talking with reporters, Jimmy Buckets predicted that the Heat will be an annoying opponent in the upcoming playoffs, claiming that once they click, it'll be hard for rivals to defeat them.

“I feel like that we put together this roster to win a championship,” he said, via Heat Nation. “It feels like a championship-caliber team. It does. We have lapses at times. We got a couple more days, games to figure that all out, but when we’re clicking, when we’re guarding, when we’re making shots, when we’re sharing the ball, I think we’re going to be really tough to beat.”

For a team that has been called 'frauds' after losing four games in a row, Butler is pretty confident that the situation will be different come playoffs time. The Heat have a solid roster and the desire to win it all this campaign. They are fighting for that top seed in the Eastern Conference to clinch home-court advantage until the Finals.

Jimmy knows it'll be hard to beat the big teams in the East, namely the Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets. Well, he knows the Heat have a big shot at the title, too, and they will try to go all the way this campaign.
