Karl-Anthony Towns has had a pretty good offseason for the most part. The Minnesota Timberwolves gave him a 4-year, $224 million extension very early on in the free agency period and they now have him under contract for 6 seasons. Some more good news for Towns would follow just a few days later in the form of the team trading for Rudy Gobert in a blockbuster move.

KAT is certainly a very happy man on a personal and a team front as of this point and stated earlier this offseason that the team has a win or bust mindset now after landing Gobert. Expectations are certainly growing in Minnesota, as they also have rising star Anthony Edwards to go with their Twin Towers, and fans can’t wait for the season to start.

For now, though, the players are having their last bit of fun this offseason before the grind starts, and Towns is no different. A video recently went viral of Towns where comedian TravQue placed a huge order for drinks, after which he asked for the tab to be put on Towns.

NBA fans reacted to it, as they were quite surprised by Towns agreeing to pay for it.

” He a real one tho”

“Kat cool af for this lol”

“Thats what up KAT sharing the vibe!”

“Nah that last PUT IT ON HIS TAB! was real “

“Mann the club don’t even have all that I’m stock “

“He was dead serious too lol”

“Brah said run it up den ☑️”

“1st ever pick it up “

“I’m a fan now just because he said yes”

“Maximum Contract Talk “

“He jus signed that fat ass extension “

“That last put it on his tab was no joke “

“6 year 295 mil hell yea put it on his tab”

“That NBA money different bro! “

” I respect it… my mans said that one work good this summer”

” see Kevin hart was right about NBA players..money ain’t sh** to them especially when you’re a star”

“It went better than he thought lol”

“Yo KAT wild “

“Runnnn it he said lol”

“Ma boy came thru with the clutch “

That NBA money sure is something, and it seems it was a rare occasion where a celebrity agreed to do it, as we have seen TravQue being turned down by guys like 50 Cent in the past.

We have seen some pranks go wrong recently when it comes to NBA players, as Ray Allen was annoyed after a YouTuber tried to prank him. It worked out well for TravQue here, but he probably won’t be this lucky with someone else.
