Kevin Durant Fires Back At Fan Who Claimed He’s Afraid Of Facing The Lakers: “Scared Of What?”

2 Min Read

Kevin Durant keeps showing he’s ready to go at it with whoever tries to bring him down. The Brooklyn Nets superstar is one of the most active players on Twitter, constantly engaging in exchanges with fans, analysts, and more

Recently, somebody claimed KD was scared to face the Los Angeles Lakers, which obviously didn’t sit well with the 2x NBA champion. After Russell Westbrook was traded to the Lakers, one user roasted the Lakers, saying Marc Gasol was their best shooter.

One NBA analyst saw the tweet and brought KD’s name up, saying the 2014 NBA MVP is scared of these Lakers.

“Kd definitely running this account. Scared to fuckin death,” @CuffsTheLegend wrote.

Well, it didn’t take long for Durant to find this tweet, and he issued a big response to the analyst, asking what he should be afraid of.

“Scared of what cuffs?” Durant replied.

Like last season, the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets are considered favorites to play in the NBA Finals. Last campaign, they couldn’t do it after facing the two finalists. Next year, the goal is to play and win the Finals.

The Lakers are making big moves to have a better chance at the championship, and the Nets will surely do the same. KD is ready to lead the Nets to the promised land after a tumultuous season. Fans want to see him going against LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and former teammate Russell Westbrook.

We can say that Durant isn’t scared of the purple and gold, making the Nets dream of their chances this season.
