LeBron James And Richard Jefferson Joke About Kyle Kuzma Trade

2 Min Read

In his first public sit down since winning a title with the Lakers, LeBron James gave a shout out to his teammates on the “Road Trippin'” show, including Danny Green, Rajon Rondo, Dwight Howard, JaVale McGee, and even Quinn Cook.

Notably missing from his role-player recognition list was young stud Kyle Kuzma, which show co-host Richard Jefferson pointed out in jest, cryptically suggesting he could be on the chopping block…

Obviously, as one of the youngest players on the team, Kuzma has unique value on the trade market, and could probably net a pretty decent return for LA.

Unfortunately, he hasn’t quite lived up to expectations as a viable third option for the team and has been largely inconsistent since the arrival of LeBron James.

So far, Kuzma has not been among the series of trades made by LA this offseason. It doesn’t mean that can’t change. With LeBron, AD, Schroder, Trez, Matthews, and Gasol, this team is even better than before, and Kuzma’s role may take a back seat to the other veterans on the team.

Needless to say, it’s a sour subject for Lakers Nation right now, and even LeBron isn’t quite sure how to respond to all the noise.
