LeBron James Reveals What Was The Toughest Moment Of His Career: "Losing In The Finals To Dallas After Playing Like S**t"

LeBron James has had a career that has hit some unbelievable highs which includes winning 4 NBA championships, 4 MVP awards and the list can quite frankly go on and on and on. He is widely regarded as one of the two best players of all time and the only knock on his resume has been his defeats in the NBA finals.

One defeat, in particular, stands out above the rest, which is the 2011 NBA finals and when a fan posed a question during LeBron's Q&A session on Twitter on what was the toughest moment in his career, this is what LeBron had to say.

"Losing in the finals to Dallas after playing like 💩💩!! I hit the reset button, went back to the basics, worked on things in my game I needed to get better at so the defense couldn't just sit on 1 thing. Hours & hours & hours everyday in the off season on it. Came back 🔒 in! 🤷🏾‍♂️"

LeBron has in the past spoken about his failings in 2011, so it was expected that he would give that as his response here. It was a disastrous series for the King, who averaged just 17.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game as the Heat blew a 2-1 lead to lose the series in 6 games.

To LeBron's credit, at no point after that loss can we say that he failed to show up in a big moment and that speaks to how much he has improved since then, not just in his game but also mentally in his approach to them.

It should serve as inspiration to any of the younger players in the league that setbacks are normal even for the great ones, and what matters, in the end, is how you respond to them.

LeBron also had some fun during the session with Tom Brady who challenged him to an Ice Hockey shootout and that is something that people would pay a lot of money to see if they go ahead with it.
