Literally Everyone In The Photo Of NBA's 75 Greatest Is Smiling Except Kawhi Leonard

Coming into the league, Kawhi Leonard wasn't expected to become the superstar that he has now become. It was evident from the fact that he was selected with the 15th overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft.

For a player who was selected as a mid-first round pick, the expectations are usually to become a solid role player for the most part of his career. But Leonard overcame that theory and went on to become one of the best players of the modern generation.

While a huge credit goes to the San Antonio Spurs for nurturing him into a great player and giving him the confidence to play his natural game, Leonard has already proved that he is not a system.

After leaving the Spurs, the Klaw joined the Toronto Raptors and carried them to an NBA Championship following one of the most memorable playoff runs by an NBA player.

Although Kawhi still has a few good years left in him, he has already done enough to feature in the NBA Top 75 list. Speaking of the same, the NBA honored those legends in the halftime show of the 2022 NBA All-Star game.

Moreover, the said players were also featured in a short video together sharing their joy at being named in such an exclusive list. Well, at least most of the players were happy as NBA analyst Farbod Esnaashari noticed Leonard was the only one with a serious face in the video.

"Literally everyone in this photo is smiling except Kawhi lol."

Knowing Kawhi's reputation as someone who never tends to overshare his joy for anything, the picture perfectly fits his personality. You can watch the entire video of the same below:

Considering Leonard has been sidelined for a long time due to an injury, it was great to see him back.

Hopefully, he can get healthy before the NBA playoffs take place and help the Los Angeles Clippers in getting their first-ever NBA Championship.
