Luka Doncic On Marcus Morris: “You Know What I Think… I Don’t Want To Deal With That Kind Of Player.”

The Los Angeles Clippers have officially advanced to the second round of the 2020 NBA postseason — but it did not come without some controversy.

Amid a game-winner, the disappearance of Paul George, and a highly controversial ejection in Game 1, it was the matchup between Luka Doncic and Marcus Morris that really set things off for the NBA community.

Throughout the course of the series, Marcus made a couple of pretty questionable plays, at one point even appearing to step on Doncic’s still recovering ankle.

Things escalated in Game 6, and it’s clear Doncic had reached his boiling point.

Luka has already ripped Morris for his suspicious play this series, but he did so again tonight and confirmed our assumptions of what he thought of him.

“Terrible foul,” Doncic told reporters after the series loss. “Two games in a row he did something like that. I really hoped the first one wasn’t on purpose but looking back at the foul this game, you know what I think. I don’t want to deal with that kind of player.”

As two guys who have a love and passion for the game, they will always butt heads. While Morris has been using extreme and downright deplorable methods, he was unable to stop Doncic from doing what he wanted on the court.

Obviously, this is it for the playoffs, as Dallas will be heading home within the next couple of days. But something tells me this won’t be the last time these players go at. All we can do now is sit back and wait until the next time we get to watch them face off again.
