LeBron James continues to defy expectations in his 20th season in the NBA. James is having another phenomenal season, and he has been especially dominant since the turn of the year.

LeBron has averaged over 33 PPG in 2023 as he rapidly closes in on Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the all-time leading scorer in NBA history. While that in itself is an incredible achievement, James will also certainly get to 4th all-time for assists in the next couple of games as well, and it is amazing that someone can rank that highly in those two categories. It should be no surprise, then, that James is at the top when it comes to points that a player has been directly responsible for, as he has scored or assisted over 62,000 points in his career.

NBA fans were full of praise for James yet again.

“Witnessing greatness in front of our eyes”

“BY FAR the most”

“He’s the greatest athlete of all time he might be better than Muhammad Ali ngl”

“My goat “

“like cmon, and people really say he NOT the goat cause he went 4-6 in the finals. As if Jordan would’ve went 6-0 facing Lebron 6 losses”

“This is why he’s the greatest of all time “

“Y’all give that dude his flowers while he still around appreciate greatness”

“No way y’all think Jordan is better “

“This is why LeBron James is a undisputed “

“This is an incredible feat. Not sure if we will see it again for another 30 years or so. Amazing.”

“Nobody can touch this”

“Come on man! Lol he bout to have the most points in history that’s enough bro. “

“Greatest offensive player of all time. “

“This is Insane bro”

“Goat ain’t no other way around it”

“He’s assisted on more points than some people have actually scored. “

“Ho-hum just another all-time record for the King “

“Most impactful player all time”

“Greatest offensive player of all time by a wide margin”

LeBron is going to set marks that are going to be almost impossible to pass for anybody. The way he is playing right now, you have to think he has at least a few more high-level seasons left in him and who knows what his final numbers are going to look like.

Kevin Durant Hailed LeBron James’ Longevity

As LeBron continues to defy Father Time, his peers have been highly impressed by his performances. Kevin Durant called LeBron’s longevity inspiring, adding that he is setting the bar for what an athlete wants to be.

LeBron also tied Kareem for the most All-Star selections in NBA history this year, and you have to think he’d add a few more to his tally before he is done. We’ll never see anything like LeBron ever again, and should appreciate him for as long as he is still playing.
