Game 3 between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Minnesota Timberwolves was a game of runs. The Minnesota Timberwolves looked likely to win the game, with their largest lead being 26. However, the Memphis Grizzlies cut the lead to 16 by the 4th quarter and ended up winning the game in the end, 104-95.

The Memphis Grizzlies were led by the backcourt of Ja Morant and Desmond Bane to their win today. Desmond Bane had an elite two-way showing, finishing with 26 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, as well 1 steal, and 2 blocks. Ja Morant had a poor shooting night but still got a triple-double, putting up 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.

There is no doubt that this was a disappointing second half from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Many NBA fans roasted them after the loss, with a lot of people taking digs at star Karl-Anthony Towns, who had a poor showing for the Timberwolves. Funnily enough, Karl-Anthony Towns was pretty confident about winning at home and was even caught talking trash on camera.

After the Minnesota Timberwolves won Game 1 in Memphis, many thought that they could end up upsetting the Memphis Grizzlies. However, the Memphis Grizzlies have clearly been able to bounce back, and they have now gotten two wins in a row.

Game 4 is definitely a must-win for the Minnesota Timberwolves. If they lose Game 4, they will be down 3-1, and that is not a place where anyone wants to be. There have been some 3-1 comebacks in the past, but they are also incredibly improbably.

For the Memphis Grizzlies, this was a fantastic showing. However, they cannot rest on their laurels, as they need to finish this first-round series quickly to rest up for their next matchup, which will likely come against the Golden State Warriors.

It remains to be seen how this series will end, and the Minnesota Timberwolves could definitely get themselves back into it. However, the Grizzlies win means all the pressure is on the Timberwolves, so we’ll see if they end up playing well and evening the series out.
