Charles Barkley has made it a habit during this NBA playoffs to constantly take shots at the Golden State Warriors. Barkley consistently slams the fanbase and the franchise during Inside The NBA on TNT.

One person who took objection to Barkley constantly going after the Warriors is fellow Bay Area Sports legend Jerry Rice, who came to the defense of the Warriors. And rather than defend one of their panelists, Inside The NBA’s social media team actually trolled Sir Charles.

San Francisco 49ers legend Jerry Rice took to Instagram to take a shot at Charles Barkley, calling him out for his lack of NBA championship rings and telling him to not go after the Warriors so often.

Rather than defend Barkley, Inside The NBA’s Instagram handle commented on the post, jokingly asking whether donuts, something Charles Barkley loves, would count as rings.

Jerry Rice: Do you have any championship rings Charles Barkley? Stop hating on the Warriors!!

Inside The NBA on TNT: “Does this count as a ring ? “

Rice was far from the only person who was frustrated with Barkley constantly going after the Golden State Warriors.

Fans outside the Chase Center started pelting water bottles and jerseys at Barkley after they won Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals, where Barkley was sitting with the Inside The NBA panel.

Warrior fans won’t let Barkley’s criticism dim their fervor, as the Warriors will be celebrating reaching the NBA Finals for the 6th time in 8 years, a feat that only the 1990s’ Chicago Bulls were last able to do in the NBA.

The Warriors are going to be doing all that is in their power to try and revive their dynasty after a few years away from the limelight.
