"Never Forget When Stephen Curry Cried After Game 3 Despite The Fact They Won The Game To Go Up 3-0 Just Because He Knew He Wouldn't Win FMVP Because He Played Horribly", NBA Fans Try To Mock Stephen Curry's Legacy

Stephen Curry is one more series win away from clinching the 4th NBA championship of his career. The Warriors guard has already built up one of the most impressive careers of all time, and he has an opportunity to add one accolade that he's never achieved before, Finals MVP. If Curry can lead the Warriors to a series win over an impressive Celtics team, then he has a chance to take another leap in the all-time standings.

There has been a lot of talk about the Finals MVP, with some insisting that Curry doesn't need one to solidify his legacy as he already is one of the best to ever do it without one. However, fans that dislike Curry have pointed to the time he seemingly cried despite the Warriors going up 3-0 in the NBA Finals in 2018. And the implication is that Curry cried because it was Durant who had a massive performance in the win and clinched Finals MVP for the second season in a row:

"Never forget when Curry cried after game 3 despite the fact they won the game to go up 3-0 just because he knew he wouldn’t win FMVP because he played horribly."

"And dub fans swear he doesn’t care about that award lmao."

"Curry absolutely needs to get one this time."

"This is crazy, man, I can't believe that's what he would be sad about."

"Okay this might be funny but if I was the Celtics, I would be scared of this."

"Curry is about to go off and get his first one this season, isn't he?"

"Steph's legacy just needs a Finals MVP."

"This is so lame man, a player like him not having FMVP should absolutely be a mark against him."

"Hey Curry, try to be the best player on your team this year."

"This man legacy need a FMVP in the worst way."

"This is the lamest thing I've seen in a while, Curry gotta dominate this time."

Having Kevin Durant on your team means it's difficult to get an FMVP, considering that he is also one of the best of all time, even though the stats show that Curry did better without KD available than Durant managed without Steph. Either way, a Finals MVP is the expectation this time, and if Curry can't deliver, the haters will only get even louder after the Finals.
