Nikola Jokic keeps winning both on and off the court. After a terrific 2020/21 NBA season where he won his first MVP award, the Serbian center is focused on his family, trying to live a happy life.

Well, that’s not so hard knowing the great things happening in Jokic’s life right now. Today, the Denver Nuggets star has become a father after his wife, Natalija Macesic, gave birth to a baby girl.

Just a couple of months after winning the most outstanding individual honor in the association, Jokic received the best gift a man can get. According to Miroslav Cuk, the baby was named Ognjena Jokic.

Welcome to the world, Ognjena Jokić! Please adjust your sleeping schedule before your daddy starts the next playoff run.

Congrats Natalija and Nikola!

This is great news for Jokic and his family. He signs his name on the list of young parents in the NBA. At age 26, just entering his prime, he’s getting more and more good news.

Baby Ognjena could bring luck to her father, just like Liam Charles did with Giannis Antetokounmpo this past season. After becoming a father, Giannis won the NBA championship, changing the narrative about him and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Nikola just won the MVP a couple of months ago, and even without Jamal Murray by his side, he’ll try to lead the Nuggets to the promised land. He has a big inspiration in this baby, and the rest of the league should be careful.
