Rajon Rondo Says The Clippers Have Championship DNA: “It’s An Unselfish Organization. I Love This Organization, Since Day 1, Since I Came, They’ve Treated Me Like Royalty.”

After a failed stint with the Atlanta Hawks, Rajon Rondo landed in Los Angeles, but this time to join the Clippers. He won the NBA title with the Lakers last season, and now it’s trying to do the same with their city rivals.

This was labeled one of the best trade-deadline moves by several analysts, and Rondo believes it. The point guard is ready to help this team reach the next level, especially in the playoffs, the biggest debt of the Clippers with their fans. According to the 2x NBA champion, they have the DNA, and if they keep doing things this way, a championship could be on the horizon for the team.

“It’s an unselfish organization. Starts with the GM, the president, trickles down to coach Tyronn Lue and then the players. I love this organization, since day 1, since I came, they’ve treated me like royalty.”

“So it’s only fair that I give it back with 110%, so we definitely have the DNA. I feel like I personally have that blueprint, a lot of guys in this locker room have that blueprint.”

“Tyronn Lue is a multiple-time champion himself, Kawhi Leonard, Serge, so we have the DNA. We have all the talent and the blueprint to do it, it’s just a matter of coming together and doing the job with one another.”

Rondo knows he’s surrounded by people that have won before and that’s something that brings hope to the Clippers Nation. If Playoffs Rondo also makes an appearance in the postseason, this team will have a big chance to make it to the Western Conference Finals and the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.

He knows what it takes to win; he’s the leader this team missed last season during their postseason collapse, and the veteran is here to help. Things can be a lot different for the Clippers this campaign, but only time will tell if things fall into place for them.
