Shaquille O’Neal Names Stephen Curry The ‘Biggest Problem’ The NBA Has Right Now

Stephen Curry just finished a magical 2021/22 NBA season with a championship, returning to the top of the league with his Golden State Warriors following two seasons where they couldn’t even make it to the playoffs.

The Dubs assembled a very competitive team that didn’t have a lot of competition on their way to the title, with Curry leading them through every stage. The talented point guard hasn’t slowed down a bit, and he’s ready to continue his dominance next season when the Warriors will try to add another championship to their cabinets.

Curry is on another level right now, and many people have deemed him the best player in the world after his heroics last season. Shaquille O’Neal is one of those that is really high on Steph and knows he’s bringing the sauce next season.

During an interview with Marca, the Big Diesel touched on a host of topics, including the most decisive player in the NBA. Of course, he picked himself as the most decisive of all time before saying that Curry is the one that holds that title now.

Q: Who do you think is the most decisive player in NBA history and who is the most decisive player right now?

A: I am the most decisive player in NBA history. Have you heard of Hack-a-Shaq? If not… look it up. I was a force to be reckoned with because I was a dominant big man. Today, the NBA has become a shooter’s league. If you can shoot the long ball, then you’re off to a good start…that’s why I think Stephen Curry is the biggest problem the league has right now. That guy doesn’t miss and he can score near the rim, from outside, beyond half court, it doesn’t matter. He gets it right every time.

Moreover, he revealed that he was rooting for the Warriors during the 2022 NBA Finals, as the Dubs never disappointed him during the season.

Q: Which team was your favorite to win the title this past season? What are your thoughts on the final between the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors?

A: For me, the Warriors were the big favorites to win the title. There was no doubt in my mind. Everything went as I expected before the games started. They didn’t let me down and did their job very well.

Curry is ready to relive these glories next season, as he and the Warriors don’t plan to make things easy for the other 29 teams in the league. Steph is showing that he gets better with age, and that’s a big plus for his team. If they can return and play at the same level next campaign, it’ll be hard to see a team dethroning the Warriors.
