LeBron James is probably the most talked-about athlete in the NBA today. Having been arguably the best player in the league for nearly two decades, this is unsurprising, but there is one particular show where he gets mentioned more than most others. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe on Undisputed talk about LeBron James on their show almost every day, with Bayless being his biggest critic and taking regular shots at him and Sharpe being one of his biggest supporters.

So in 2018, when Shannon Sharpe had a photo with LeBron James go a little viral, it was discussed on the show with Bayless. And Skip, who has always fancied that LeBron listens to him, took that moment to profess his belief that LBJ took the picture so that he could get his face on Undisputed, leading to a hilarious exchange between the two.

Shannon Sharpe: “That’s me and my partner, that’s me and my partner!”

Skip Bayless: “That was yesterday? Where?”

Shannon Sharpe: “I ain’t telling you, you might be hanging out there stopping me and Bron. Me and my partner were just hanging.”

Skip Bayless: “Well, how did you pull that off? What was the occasion?”

Shannon Sharpe: “My sister called me, she said, you’ll never guess who’s crossing the street. She said LeBron James, I say bulljive. By the time he looks my way, they say, ‘Dawg what it is!’ And before he left, he said, ‘Do what you do to that guy’.”

Skip Bayless: “Is that what he said? Did you tell him I say hi?”

Shannon Sharpe: No! That’s my partner. You ain’t got a partner.”

Skip Bayless: “You know what, I think LeBron set the whole thing up, because LeBron wanted to get his picture on Undisputed.”

Considering that LeBron James is often the No. 1 topic on Undisputed, it’s unlikely that he would go out of his way to get his picture on the show. However, the unending banter between the two hosts about King James is one of the most entertaining bits in basketball media, something that is unlikely to stop until James retires from the NBA.
