Stephen A. Smith Reveals Jeanie Buss’ Top Priority Is To Keep LeBron James Happy: “She Know It’s Entwined With Winning.”

LeBron James is one of the most winning superstars in the history of the NBA. He has made 10 NBA Finals in his career and won four championships. There is no doubt that James has proven that he can lead a team to the championship.

Lakers’ governor Jeanie Buss has been very supportive of LeBron James during his tenure with the team. At one point in 2021, she even called him “the closest thing to a superhero”.

Recently, NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith revealed that Jeanie Buss’ “number one priority is for LeBron James to be happy”. He stated that she knows that LeBron James being happy is “entwined with winning”. No competitor such as LeBron James will be content with losing, and the goal is obviously to win.

“Her number one priority was making sure to put a smile his face because she know it’s intwined with winning.”

“Speaking of Jeanie Buss, she never hesitates to do what LeBron James is going to want her to do. She told me months ago: her number one priority is for LeBron James to be happy. Because losing, winning just 33 games and being 16 games under .500. He was walking around with a very truculent attitude as well as he should have… winning matters to him a great deal. Her number one priority was making sure to put a smile on his face because she know it’s entwined with winning. If he ain’t winning, he ain’t gonna be happy. That’s her priority — to make him happy.”

LeBron James just signed a two-year $97.1 million contract extension with the Los Angeles Lakers. Clearly, James is convinced about the direction Jeanie Buss and the team are taking.

Hopefully, we see the Los Angeles Lakers find a way to improve the roster around LeBron James. They have been linked with a number of trades this summer, but we’ll have to wait to see if any moves end up happening.
