Jeanie Buss On LeBron James: “He’s Like The Closest Thing To A Superhero I’ve Ever Met.”

2 Min Read

LeBron James is one of the NBA’s most notorious and recognizable faces. With 17 All-Star appearances, 4 MVPs, and 4 Championships to his name, his legacy has reached a level of greatness rarely seen in professional sports.

In a recent chat on the “All The Smoke” podcast, Lakers owner Jeanie Buss likened James to that of a real-life superhero.

“I like to say he’s like the closest thing to a superhero I’ve ever met. In that, he’s so powerful and strong and smart, but he does things for the good,” Jeanie Buss said on a recent episode of the “All the Smoke” podcast.

On the court, LeBron definitely seems beyond human. His durability, ferocity, and sheer talent surpass anything we’ve seen before, and it’s easy to get caught up in all the things he brings to the table.

Off the court, James is also a pretty powerful force — being a strong voice for social issues while being involved in businesses and media entertainment. From Space Jam to his “I Promise” school, LBJ is a man of many ventures, and each has had an impact on the community.

While LeBron doesn’t bother wearing capes or masks, it’s no wonder some see him as a superhero. The guy is truly one of a kind.
