The Sacramento Kings have been a bad team for a while now, and that is evidenced by their inability to make the playoffs since the 2005-06 season. Recently, they have broken another record that is viewed in a negative light.

Twitter page Legion Hoops has recently revealed that the Sacramento Kings have clinched their 16th consecutive losing season, which has set a record for being the most in a row in NBA history.

The Kings have clinched their 16th (!!!) consecutive losing season after today’s loss, the most in a row in NBA history. 

There is no doubt that the Sacramento Kings have attempted to improve as a team in recent memory. They have recently moved some players to acquire Domantas Sabonis, who was a two-time All-Star with the Indiana Pacers. Sabonis is averaging 17.4 PPG, 13.1 RPG, and 6.0 APG with the Sacramento Kings, and he has definitely helped the team with his passing ability and rebounding. They also still have De’Aaron Fox, who is a fantastic slasher.

Perhaps the Sacramento Kings could build a fun team in the future. They have two solid franchise cornerstones in Domantas Sabonis and De’Aaron Fox, and they have multiple different avenues to improve as a team. It would be amazing to see the team break their playoff drought in the future, and their fans could definitely be more energized when seeing a competitive team. 

What is good is that the Sacramento Kings players want to help the team improve. Domantas Sabonis has previously stated that his goal is to get wins for the franchise and fight for the team. Hopefully, the team is going to succeed in achieving that goal in the future. Hopefully, the Sacramento Kings make it back to the playoffs in the future, and Sacramento will certainly appreciate a winning basketball team when it happens.
