Zach LaVine has been the subject of constant trade rumors and speculations for a while now, and the Chicago Bulls star shared his take on the whole shebang.

The 27-year-old has been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers in the midst of what has been a turbulent run for Chicago. However, the side has shown some semblance of playing like the Bulls of the old by registering consecutive wins over the Atlanta Hawks and the New York Knicks.

LaVine has been in decent form this year, averaging 22.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists. However, the trio comprising himself, DeMar DeRozan, and Nikola Vucevic have been criticized for being unable to close out games, with some reports even suggesting that LaVine wants to move on and play for the Lakers.

The former UCLA player has been linked to the Purple and Gold before, and only time will tell if LA pulls the trigger on the move and puts the option of trading Russell Westbrook and the picks on the table.

Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine said on the Bulls postgame radio show that all of the rumors lately about this team is just “outside noise.”

LaVine: “We are a very close team.”

Earlier, it was reported that LaVine wanted to force his way out of Chicago and post the win over the Miami Heat, he refuted the rumors. According to the site:

“I didn’t come up with the report,” LaVine said dismissively. “It didn’t come from my mouth. It didn’t come from DeMar’s. It didn’t come from [Nikola Vucevic]’s. So I don’t get how these opinions are being put on me like I said something.”

For now, LaVine seems pretty comfortable as a Bull. But this is the NBA, and it remains to be seen if he finds himself a new home before the trade deadline or after the end of the season.
