NBA Rumors: Warriors Listening To Offers For D’Angelo Russell

1 Min Read

D’Angelo Russell’s move to the Golden State Warriors was a shock to the NBA community. In a sign-and-trade with Brooklyn, the Dubs were able to acquire D’Lo for the departing Kevin Durant.

And though he has been the Warriors’ best player this season, his stay might not last too long.

According to the New York Times’ Marc Stein, the team is beginning to field offers for the 2019 All-Star point guard.

D’Angelo’s fit with the Dubs has always been questionable. With Steph and Klay due to return next season, where will he fit in an already loaded backcourt of shooters?

If the Warriors can swap him for a player better fitted to their lineup, that might be an opportunity too great to pass up.

Be on the lookout for Minnesota, Philadelphia, and Phoenix as potential suitors this deadline. It will be interesting to see what kinds of offers surface in talks over these nest few weeks.
