Warriors And Cavs Discussing Three-Team Trade Involving Draymond Green, Kevin Love

2 Min Read

With Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and a mountain of assets, the Golden State Warriors will have no shortage of options available to them this offseason.

While we don’t yet know what the Dubs plan on doing over these next few weeks, one report indicates the 5x Champs could be considering a move to bring in big-man sharpshooter, Kevin Love.

In theory, the Warriors would send their long-time defensive star, Draymond Green, to a third team (probably a contender), while the Cavs would send back their veteran, Kevin Love, to play alongside Steph and Klay.

Obviously, Green’s defensive skills would be extremely valuable to any team in the league, especially for a squad that needs a boost on that end of the floor. The 6-6 forward is a 3x All-Star, 5x All-Defensive player, 2017 Defensive Player of the Year, and 3x NBA Champion.

Giving him up wouldn’t be easy, but for Kevin Love, it might be with it. Despite Love’s shortages on defense, Love is a superior rebounder and a sniper from three-point range. Last season, he averaged 17.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists on 45% shooting.

Will Love be able to help the Warriors win another title? Are they even willing to give up Draymond? Questions remain, and it will be an interesting few months, to say the least.
