It’s not a secret that the Utah Jazz are all-in on their rebuilding process after breaking up their star duo of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert. The talented shooting guard and the defensive specialist spent many years together, trying to find success in the NBA, although they could never reach important stages in the playoffs.

Now that these two are gone, the team is trying to ship the rest of their veterans to different teams, and some of them are reportedly drawing attention from around the league.

The trio of Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic and Jordan Clarkson have been linked with a move to the Los Angeles Lakers in recent days, but so far nothing has happened. It seems like they will find new teams separately, and the latter is the one more likely to do so.

Jordan Clarkson Is Drawing Attention From Grizzlies, Bucks And Kings

Jordan Clarkson might be a unidimensional scorer, but he does his job really well. That’s how he’s become a very reliable sixth man in Utah, which is the reason why certain teams would be keen to add him to the roster. According to Brett Siegel of Sports Illustrated, there are at least three teams interested in Clarkson right now.

Two of them have solid championship aspirations, and the third appeared to be doomed to remain one of the worst teams in the league.

Following the departure of Donovan Mitchell, many around the league are anticipating the Jazz looking to move Jordan Clarkson, Bojan Bogdanovic and/or Mike Conley before the trade deadline. Clarkson has generated the most interest thus far with the Memphis Grizzlies, Milwaukee Bucks, Sacramento Kings and Toronto Raptors said to be teams with initial interest following Rudy Gobert’s departure earlier this offseason, sources told Fastbreak.

Clarkson proved his value in Cleveland and then in Utah after leaving the Los Angeles Lakers. He can be a great addition to any of these teams, but it remains unclear which one will unlock negotiations with the Jazz. This team is ready to start a new era and see if they can finally win the championship in the future, and players like Clarkson need to leave so they can focus only on waiting and developing young players.
