The hottest commodity in the NBA right now is Bradley Beal. James Harden is a better player, but he looks out of shape and hasn’t been in the form that Beal is in. The offensive superstar is averaging 35.0 PPG this season for the Wizards but his teammates are not helping him rack up wins. There are a lot of problems in Washington and Beal is wasting away his prime years with a team that won’t make the playoffs.
On the other end, the Miami Heat are back after a very successful season last year. They are a very good team but they didn’t make any additions since last year and might have gotten worse with the departure of Jae Crowder. If Miami gets their hands on Bradley Beal, they are back in the NBA Finals except this time they won’t be the underdogs.

The Washington Wizards Need To Cut Their Losses And Trade Beal
The Washington Wizards thought they struck gold by trading away injury-prone point guard John Wall to the Rockets for Russell Westbrook. Westbrook and Beal were meant to be the best backcourt in the NBA and the Wizards felt they could capture a top-4 seed in the Eastern Conference if everything clicked.
So far, it hasn’t clicked at all and the Wizards sit at the bottom of the Eastern Conference with a 2-7 record. Beal is doing his thing averaging 35.0 PPG and Westbrook is averaging a near triple-double again; 19.3 PPG, 9.7 RPG, 11.3 APG, but the team is horribly inconsistent. The Wizards grossly overpaid Davis Bertans and the rest of the roster can’t defend their own shadow. The season has pretty much been Beal keeping the team in games and Westbrook tallying great individual statistics for nothing.
It is almost certain, the best player on the team Bradley Beal will request a trade away from the Wizards or simply walk in free agency. Rather than deal with either scenario, the Wizards should cut their losses and rebuild with Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson. Herro is averaging 13.4 PPG this season but has the potential to be a star as he is only 20 years old. Robinson is averaging 11.9 PPG but is shooting 41.1% from deep as one of the best shooters in the league. Washington aren’t going anywhere anyway, so acquiring two young players for the future is the way to go.
Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, And Bradley Beal Make The NBA Finals In 2021
Bradley Beal is an All-Star and would be the best option for the Miami Heat to create a dominant superteam in the East. Butler and Adebayo are known as defensive specialists, although both of them can put up big scoring numbers. Butler is averaging only 13.8 PPG this season and Adebayo is putting up 18.6 PPG. Clearly, neither star is doing what Bradley Beal is doing on offense.
Beal is coming off a career year where he averaged 30.5 PPG on 45.5% shooting this year except he turned it up by averaging 35.0 PPG this season. Beal would make the Heat unstoppable on offense, mainly because he is possibly the best scorer in the league right now. Beal can get any shot he wants because he is a marksman from deep and has improved his dribbling and shot-making. If the Heat sacrifice a large part of their core, they can make this deal happen.
Miami have not done well this season as they sit 11th in the East with a 3-4 record. They have been very inconsistent and they could use Beal’s ability to win games on his own. Goran Dragic is older now and can’t produce the same All-Star play that we have grown accustomed to every night, so Miami need to bite the bullet and trade their 2 shooting guards for a chance to create the best Big Three in the NBA and make the NBA Finals.
