NBA Rumors: Golden State Warriors Can Land Bradley Beal In A Perfect Blockbuster Trade

The Golden State Warriors are getting ready to enter a kind of revenge season after falling from heaven in 2019/20. The Dubs were the biggest dominator in the league for the past five years only to win 15 games last season, having the worst record in the league. They lost Kevin Durant in free agency, Klay Thompson picked up an injury during the 2019 Finals while Steph Curry only played five games last season after breaking his hand.

It was a complete nightmare for the Warriors but now they have the chance to be great again and there is one player that they could pursue to once again create a super team. According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, the Warriors are in a good position to trade for Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal. Beal is a great scorer that just had the best season of his career, drawing more interest from big teams like the Brooklyn Nets or Los Angeles Lakers.

Now the Warriors are the latest addition to that list. During a recent edition of the “Brian Windhorst & The Hoop Collective” podcast, the insider said:

“The trade there is pretty simple,” Windhorst said. “Andrew Wiggins is involved from a salary standpoint. And then it would be the No. 2 pick in this year’s draft, the (Minnesota) Timberwolves pick next year, and then I also included Minnesota’s second-round pick next year — which I anticipate to be a very good selection.”

Windhorst noted that the Warriors will need Beal’s collaboration to try to make a move. As things stand now, it’s impossible for them to even think of doing business with the Wizards.

“Golden State would be much better off if Bradley Beal says in the next month, ‘I don’t want to play in Washington anymore.’ Over the next month, I think they have the best offer,” he added. “I think once you get into the season — and they’ve already driven the new car off the lot with that second pick …”

The Warriors already knew how to assemble a super team and they still have their Big 3. If they land Beal, the Western Conference and the rest of the league will have to be careful with the Dubs once again, as they’re looking for domination.
