The way we should evaluate how the Nets are doing should be by viewing their record against winning teams, which are the teams they will be playing in the playoffs.

Needless to say, the quote itself was controversial due to the many different fanbases on Twitter. Lots of people want the Brooklyn Nets to succeed, but a lot of people also want them to fail.
