Messing with LeBron James isn’t a good idea at all. Whenever people try to get under his skin, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar gets fired up and takes things personally, destroying rivals with no mercy.

Before Klay Thompson and Dillon Brooks dared to disrespect him, LeBron had some sort of nemesis in an Indiana Pacers player. Lance Stephenson had the not-so-easy task of going against the King in the playoffs, and he used every trick in the book to mess with LeBron. However, not everybody liked that, and Paul George let Stephenson know.

“The reason Lance was on Bron for those moments was because I was in foul trouble,” George said.

“But, for the series, I’m guarding Bron. So, I was like, ‘Bro, what the f**k you doing?'”

PG13 explained that Lance messing with LeBron would hurt him later since the King would go off on George. However, it sent a good message to the rest of the team, as he didn’t fear LeBron or the Miami Heat whatsoever.

“But, I thought it raised our intensity of like, ‘We’re not backing down to y’all.’ I thought we stood behind Lance after he did that. Opposed to, like, getting on him about it or breaking up about it. I thought we backed him up and it made us just raise the intensity.”

Those Indiana Pacers vs. Miami Heat playoff series were memorable. When the New York Knicks were expected to compete against the Heat, the Pacers stepped in and made a statement.

They clashed in the postseason in 2013 and 2014, with the Heat winning both times. Still, the Pacers always tried to put up a fight, although it wasn’t enough against LeBron James.

Stephenson Was One Of LeBron’s Biggest Rivals In The NBA

Stephenson became a famous face in the NBA after he blew in LeBron’s ear, which instantly became a meme. The player always brought the extra when it came to the King and didn’t hesitate to use whatever he wanted to use to make LeBron uncomfortable.

In full circle mode, they were teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers, finishing their beef and playing together for one season. After that, they even became friends, with James trolling him on social media occasionally.

Things were really heated between these two, and LeBron made sure to teach Stephenson a lesson whenever he could. George knew that and he tried to warn his teammate, but it didn’t work.
